Our Mission
Tulsa Area Forest School (TAFS) is a community-driven nature education program offering free, inclusive outdoor learning experiences for families across the Tulsa area. We gather 2–3 times each week in local parks and natural spaces, providing enriching, hands-on sessions tailored for all ages and abilities.
At TAFS, we believe nature is for everyone. Our programs are open to all families—regardless of age, race, gender, ability, or background. Whether you're a local resident or visiting Tulsa, you are welcome here. Join us in fostering connection, curiosity, and community through nature. To learn more, follow our Facebook and Instagram pages.
TAFS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is fully donation-based. All monetary and supply donations are directed to future sessions.
Forest Friends & Family Feast- August 29th
The Forest Friends & Family Feast is a monthly potluck gathering meant to build community and help our families connect with each other. Your family is welcome to bring a dish to share, along with any extended family or friends you might have that want to learn more about our TAFS community.
