Tulsa Area Forest School

What is Forest School?

Tulsa Area Forest School provides nature education to all local families, free of charge. We meet 2-3 times per week in Tulsa parks and surrounding areas, and we have sessions for all ages and abilities. TAFS welcomes all families regardless of age, race, disability, and gender. We do not discriminate; if you live in our area, or are visiting Tulsa, you will find a home with TAFS. To learn more, follow our Facebook and Instagram pages. TAFS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is fully donation-based. All monetary and supply donations are directed to future sessions.

Garage Sale May 3rd

Our first big fundraiser of the season is a garage sale on 5/3/25. Clean out those closets and donate your stuff to a great cause; all money earned from the sale will go toward future sessions! If you have items you want to donate, please contact us to arrange pickup/drop-off (contact form at the bottom of this page). We hope to see you at the sale! We’re in the Highland Park neighborhood, 36th & Yale, Saturday the 3rd at 8am and possibly Sunday the 4th if we still have enough stuff to open again!

Exciting News for TAFS! Directors Amanda and Piper were interviewed for a Positively Oklahoma feature. Click the photo to see the full story on Youtube.
